One the other hand, take into account that while Fleishman Hillard's survey indicates a strong favorable consumer attitude towards CSR products, it has been indicated by several studies (referenced below) that: "marketplace behaviour highlights a gap between what consumers report they expect from firms and what they are prepared to reward..." In fact, one study actually reports: " More specifically, the authors find that CSR initiatives can, under certain conditions, decrease consumers’ intentions to buy a company’s products."
Frankly speaking, though CSR is clearly a trend of this era, it isn't the end-all approach to a successful business practice.
