I totally agree -- social networking sites are hardly "new" territory, yet there's a lot of people who are still very wary of them and still subscribe to the old belief that putting information about yourself on the internet is dangerous....but I agree that new media is the future. You can't always explain it to people and have them understand, though; the best way for them to GET IT is by using new media themselves. Then they'll understand.
