I just spent an hour last night brainstorming ways to get a friend on the net. He's a tech employee, but lives in the Santa Cruz mountains and at least a dozen miles away from DSL/Cable/etc- and literally lives of a satellite connection that is slower than molasses- 1500 ping + dialup modem throughput.

I'd like to see what happens if this chart was organized by population density, or even by state. I suspect the US's numbers will look impressive in that light.

er .. there is a typo .. the population of Britain is not 1330 million, should be
around a 100 million I guess :)
